Foliar Application of Salicylic Acid and Zinc Sulphate Levels on Growth and Yield of Squash under Net House Condition

A field experiment was conducted at Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka during November, 2020 to February, 2021. The laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. had two factors (Different levels salicylic acid, S0= No acid (control), S1= 60 ppm S2= 90 and different zinc, Z0= zinc sulphate Z1= 25 sulphate, Z2= 50 sulphate. Different salicylic, also their combinations showed significant influence on growth, yield contributing parameters squash. treatment, S2 highest results fruit per plant (2422.7 g), plot (9.68 kg) ha (37.83 t) compared control. In case treatments, the (2597.1 (10.38 (31.74 were found from Z1 Likewise, treatment combination S2Z1 (90 sulphate) gave (3045.4 g) (12.18 (47.57 where lowest S0Z0 (control). gross return (BDT 1189425), net 881669) BCR (3.86) obtained S0Z0. It can be concluded that economic point view, is suitable for squash cultivation than other combinations.
